The Community Thank You Card is being offered again this year to all individuals who invest or $156.00 or more to the United Way of Genesee County during the 2007 campaign. As a Community Thank You Card holder, you are entitled to discounted services at local participating businesses. Please support these local businesses that support their community. The Thank You Cards will be distributed to contributors by June 1, 2008 and will be valid thru May 31, 2009.

What is a Community Thank You Card?
It’s a discount ”rewards” card that will be offered to all donors who give $156 or more to the United Way of Genesee County during the Fall of 2007 campaign. This program is a new way for local small businesses to get involved with the community in a very big way and increase profits in the process!
Participating businesses in the Community Thank You Card program will offer an incentive or discount for visiting their business. This offer is determined by the business owner and can encourage repeat customers.
The discounts would be valid from June 1, 2008 to May 31, 2009 for those who show their card. United Way also asks for a tax deductible $200 contribution from each participating business to cover the costs of the program and to use toward our 2007 fundraising campaign. The $200 can be paid now or can be billed in four installments beginning in March 2008. All participating businesses will be listed alphabetically on the card and in our advertising.
