Lunch & Learn Series |
|
| The Lunch & Learn Series enables you and others in your organization to gain valuable insight into issues impacting each of us in the community. Bring your lunch and listen to our experts who are not only knowledgeable on the topics they cover, but have worked for years to provide assistance to those in need. United Way of Genesee County provides this program as an educational resource to the community. There is no cost to organizations or individuals, and the presentations will not be used to solicit financial support. All you need to do is provide the space for your co-workers to hear the speaker. Your employees will be responsible for bringing a brown bag lunch. The following list of Lunch & Learn sessions can be scheduled any time of day for workplace employees or civic organization members. Available topics include: Basic Needs Assistance for Medically Under- & Uninsured Child/Youth Development How to find Quality Day Care Older Adults Grandparents Raising Grandchildren - Issues and Answers Strengthening Families Domestic Violence: Signs of Hurting Families & Services that Help If you would like to schedule a session, or if you have questions about available topics or another topic of interest to your group, please call Bonnie Duhon at 810.762.4888. Please request your speaker at least 15 business days prior to the Lunch & Learn session date you desire to ensure we are able to fulfill your request.
