Flint Recovery Corps

Flint Recovery Corps at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan

Flint Recovery Corps places full-time and half-time members at local nonprofit organizations. Members serve at these organizations to address the long-term needs of Flint residents affected by the water crisis, particularly in areas of food stability and nutrition, access to medical services, early education, and behavioral and developmental needs.  2018-19 host sites are: Asbury Community Development Corporation, Evergreen Community Development Initiative, Flint & Genesee Literacy Network, Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, Pediatric Public Health Initiative, Sylvester Broome Empowerment Village, Edible Flint, Flint Fresh, Latinx Technology & Community Center, Hurley Food FARMacy, Crim Fitness Foundation Mindfulness Inititiative, and Urban Renaissance Center.
