Opioid Abuse Prevention VISTA Program

Genesee County Opioid Abuse Prevention AmeriCorps VISTA Program

The Genesee County Opioid Abuse Prevention VISTA Program builds capacity for local organizations to address the opioid epidemic. VISTA members are placed at local organizations that are on the front lines of combating the epidemic, including law enforcement agencies, health care providers, nonprofits and educational institutions. 5 VISTA members contribute to the goals of the project by performing activities such as material development, training, community engagement, data and research, and partnership development over the course of a service year.
